Scalloped Flap Mini Satchel

Create your own Scalloped Flap Mini Satchel in this hands-on DIY leather bag workshop. This design features a compact structured silhouette with softly rounded edges and a decorative scalloped front flap. Two round covered button details and layered leather tabs add dimension to the front of the bag, while hand-laced stitching around the edges highlights its handmade construction.

The bag is made with textured PU leather and finished with gold-tone hardware. It includes a detachable curved top handle and an adjustable shoulder strap, allowing the finished bag to be carried as a mini handbag, shoulder bag, or crossbody bag.

The workshop kit includes pre-cut leather pieces, hardware components, strap parts, thread, and all materials required to assemble the bag. Participants will complete the project through guided hand-sewing and step-by-step assembly.

This bag does not include a hanging charm, key, bell, braided cord, or decorative keychain.

This project is designed to be beginner-friendly while still creating a polished and functional handbag that can be used after the workshop.

Each DIY project is priced per person. Project sharing is not permitted.

Our DIY workshop space is limited, so only participants actively working on a project may stay in the workshop area. If your friends would like to join, they can book the same project or another available project for the same date and time, and we will do our best to seat your group together. Participants in the same session may choose different projects.

Outside food is not allowed in the craft workshop area unless you have booked the party room for a celebration. Water and beverages are welcome while you are crafting.

Workshop Details:

Participants will receive a materials kit, including pre-cut textured PU leather pieces, front flap and decorative leather tabs, side and body panels, detachable top-handle components, adjustable crossbody strap components, gold-tone rings, clasps, buckles, closures, thread, and all required hardware for assembling the bag.

The materials kit does not include a decorative charm or keychain.

Our instructors will provide step-by-step guidance throughout the workshop, including how to identify and organize the leather pieces, align the body and side panels, complete decorative hand-laced stitching, attach the front flap and leather details, install the gold-tone hardware and closures, assemble the detachable handle, and attach the adjustable crossbody strap.

Level: Beginner friendly. No previous sewing, leather crafting, or handbag-making experience is required.

Participants should be comfortable completing repetitive hand-sewing and following step-by-step instructions.

Age Requirement:

Kids friendly.

Younger participants may require assistance from an accompanying adult, depending on their crafting experience and ability to complete detailed hand-sewing.
