About this workshop
Create your own Knotted Handle Mini Satchel in this hands-on DIY leather bag workshop. This design features a compact structured body with a soft trapezoid shape, making it easy to style while still feeling practical for daily use. The bag is made with smooth PU leather and finished with a front flap closure, neat stitched edges, gold-tone side hardware, a short top handle with a knotted strap detail, and a detachable adjustable shoulder strap.
The gold oval clasp adds a refined accent to the simple leather body, giving the bag a modern and elegant look. Its mini satchel size makes it suitable for carrying small everyday essentials such as a phone, wallet, keys, lip products, and small accessories. The finished bag can be carried by the top handle, worn over the shoulder, or styled as a crossbody bag.
The workshop kit includes pre-cut bag pieces, body panels, flap panel, strap components, top handle pieces, leather tabs, gold-tone rings, clasp hardware, buckle pieces, rivets, thread, and the materials needed to assemble the bag. Participants will complete the project through guided hand-sewing and step-by-step assembly. This project is designed to be beginner friendly while still creating a polished final product that can be used after the workshop.
